Principles and Elements of Art through Photography

Lines = Self explanatory, lots of parallel lines, with the gaps in-between the wood. Shape = Shapes that give objects their definition, just like the car. Form = A three dimensional figure, which in this case is the power line pole. Space = The space or distance between objects, so the bird from the tree. Color = Draws the eyes and can invoke mood or emotion, which is the octopus around lots of color Value = Helps give depth using light and dark, with the photo of the school building, shows the corner and how big it is. Texture = Surface quality of objects, so that the tree looks visibly rough. Balance = Shows symmetry/asymmetry, in this case the two tennis fields are symmetric Harmony = the balance between varsity and unity, so the backpacks are different but still all backpacks.
